What can Fableapp actually see in my messages?
Nothing, once they're sent. Your messages are end-to-end encrypted, so only you and the recipient hold the keys. We can't read them, and neither can anyone else.
How much metadata does Fableapp collect?
We design for minimal metadata from day one. That means fewer details about who talks to whom, when, and from where. It's a core part of our security-by-design approach.
Can I lock the app so others can't open it?
Yes. You can set a PIN or password, or use biometric authentication like fingerprint or face unlock. Your conversations stay local and protected even if someone gets hold of your phone.
What happens to my data if I uninstall Fableapp?
Your encrypted local storage is removed with the app. We don't keep a copy of your messages on our servers. For backups, we'll offer privacy-preserving options that keep your data encrypted.
Are my calls and file transfers encrypted too?
Yes. Voice and video calls use end-to-end encryption, and so do file transfers. Shared documents, photos, and PDFs stay encrypted from sender to recipient.
How does the disappearing messages feature work?
You can choose to have messages automatically delete after a set time. It's optional, per conversation, and handled entirely on your devices. Once they're gone, they're gone.
